If you're staying in Omeo (maybe at the Caravan Park) here's a neat door to door loop around the big hill just north of the town. It involves a bit of an initial climb but well worth it once its done and your cruising down the hidden Bingo-Tice valley. Again, plenty of great views.

Head out of town in the Benambra direction.You'll see the golf course on the left. Turn just before and cross a low bridge. Head up the hill (bit of a heart starter for about 4km). Enjoy views of Omeo. When you get to the top, where there's an old cattle yard, if you wish, you can turn right for a bit more punishment and ride up to the summit of Mt Sam. Enjoy the views and head back down and continue your ride down Connley's Road through beautiful high country farmland. When you get to the Omeo Highway turn right and head back for town. Again, soak up the views.

Bike riders are not welcome through private gated property. We get enough problems with cattle spooking and going through fences. Take your bikes somewhere else. Melbourne preferably.
