Ever since I can remember I have had a camera in my hand. Since a primary school excursion to Phillip Island I have been interested in the form and composition of photos. The San Remo bridge provided an opportunity to fill the frame with the perspective of the bridge. Later I constructed darkrooms in bathrooms with expansive sheets of black plastic heavy with the smell of fixer. When I could afford it Fujichrome Velvia was my preferred medium projected onto bed sheets, hanging from the clothes line in the backyard.
Digital images have provided the opportunity to explore graphic design and web site construction.
All photos should tell a story. It doesn't matter whether you are shooting with a top of the range DSLR or an iPhone out of the pocket to record the impression of the scene or situation before you.
