QGIS is a free and very powerful application that can be safely downloaded and installed on your computer.

To install it onto your computer go to the QGIS website at:

Click the Download button and follow instructions.
Note that Mac (IOS) and Windows is supported
​
Make sure you install all the files in the order prescribed by the web-site.
